Can I switch from NAVY Reserve to Army Reserve?

I may be wrong but I've been told that you can change some things up until you actually ship off but they have to be done quickly. Once you ship off it's too late. If you want to join the Army reserves then ask them what needs to be done. If there's a way they will know how to do it.
