Why does the media favor Democrats so much? Especially on SNL?

Journalists, actors, and most other entertainers tend to be liberal. Different careers attract different ideologies for whatever reason, and the people providing the actual input into the media are decidedly liberal. 90% of journalists voted for Al Gore in the 2000 election. That's amazing; I'm not sure even 90% of Dems voted for Gore. And it makes sense that if you think one way, it's going to bleed into your work, whether you try to suppress that or not.
